The Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) is a website that hosts a community-curated list of open access journals, maintained by Infrastructure Services for Open Access (IS4OA).


In 2015, DOAJ launched a reapplication process based on updated and expanded inclusion criteria. At the end of the process (December 2017), close to 5,000 journals, out of the 11,600 indexed in May 2016, had been removed from their database, in majority for failure to reapply. This substantial cleanup not with standing, the number of journals included in DOAJ has continued to grow, to reach 14,299 as of 03 March 2020.

Open access (OA) is a mechanism by which search results are distributed online, at no cost or other barriers, and, in its most precise sense, with the addition of an open license that eliminates most restrictions on use and reuse.

WJRR "World Journal of Research and Review" is an international peer reviewed, online journal Published monthly by Nextgen Research Publication. We strongly believe that the open access journal model will spur research across the world especially in developing nations, as researchers gain unrestricted access to high quality research articles. Our journal aims to bring out the research talent and the works done by scientists, academia, engineers, practitioners, scholars, post graduate students of Engineering and Science. How much does it cost to publish a research paper?
Nowadays, journals that charge all kinds of fees are available, although publishing and promoting research papers is a social work, but nowadays many journals have made it a business. Many research journals charge 500 USD to 4000 USD fees for publishing a paper. Getting a research paper published by paying a very high fee is not right for a student. By doing this, the student not only wastes his money but also puts his career at stake. Publishing a research paper in the true sense costs the journal a maximum of $ 100. Despite this, they earn $ 300 to $ 3,800 from students.
Is it right to publish paper in free journal?
Not in our opinion, nowadays time has become very valuable. Everybody is short on time. Free journals sometimes take up to a year to review a research paper. But if the paper is rejected after waiting for one year, then the student's entire time is wasted. Free journals cannot do maximum indexing of your paper.

Steps of paper publishing

 

There are following simple steps for publishing paper in World Journal of Research and Review.

  1. Author prepares paper as per Paper preparation guidelines.
  2. Authors have to submit paper through online submission OR mail us at editor@wjrr.org
  3. You will get acknowledgment with in 24 hrs of submission of paper.
  4. Within 4-5 days, you will get review report.
    1. If paper is rejected, it cannot be publish in The World Journal of Research and Review.
    2. If paper is accepted, author need to deposit fees in the given account with review report.
  6. After deposition fees you have to send the scan copy of bank receipt, filled copy right form And Formated paper to editor@wjrr.org OR info.wjrr@gmail.com.
  7. You will get acknowledgment mail and publication schedule within 24 hrs.
  8. Your paper will get publish as per given schedule.
