Strategic Analysis of Investment and Financing System of Gwadar Infrastructure System

The development of a port is based on infrastructure in order to give full play to its superior geographical location. Gwadar Port, which has been taken over by China for 43 years, is located near strategical throat of Persian Gulf and is the node port and flagship project of "The Belt and Road" and China- Pakistan Economic Corridor(CPEC). However, similar to Shenzhen 40 years ago , which has a small scale and poor infrastructure, it is very important to improve the infrastructure as soon as possible during the operation period. Based on the literature review, basic theoretical analysis and current situation analysis of Gwadar Port, this paper draws lessons from the system of investment and financing of infrastructure in Shenzhen Port and some developed countries, and brings forward some suggestions for perfecting that of Gwadar Port .
